Specialty Class Schedule
This is our schedule page for all things specialty such as hand sewing, upcycle, mending, quilting, knitting, crochet and embroidery. These classes are typically shorter in duration compared to our weekly classes and vary in subject matter across all areas of stitching.
It’s Happening! Intro to Tambour Beading with Robert Haven - This class will provide a basic introduction to the tools, materials and techniques used in traditional tambour beading which is the cornerstone of embellishment in the French Haute Couture industry. Starting with preparing the fabric on the frame students will progress to
learning the basic tambour stitch with thread then move on to adding beads and sequins to the design.
